Erick Mahatara | Co-Director of Global Service - U.S.-Tanzania
Erick Mahatara is a medical student at KCMC University and a passionate public health advocate with a focus on non-communicable diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. He is also a Research Fellow at GHSEN, also serving as the Director of Global Services in Tanzania.
With a strong research interest, Erick has been spearheading numerous community health initiatives in rural parts of the Kilimanjaro region, working to promote awareness, prevention, and access to healthcare. His advocacy bridges physical and mental health, with a particular emphasis on empowering communities to tackle pressing health challenges.
